Logo Color Schemes

Logo Color Schemes

Analogous

This Subway logo uses the analogous colors of green, yellow, and white. I think the company probably chose these colors because it makes the logo look very coordinated and organized. Also, I think these colors would really get you in the mood for eating at this food chain.

This BP logo uses the analogous colors of green, lime, and yellow. I think the company chose these colors because they are very vibrant, and will make you feel much more energetic and willing to go to a place like this.

Complementary

This Fanta logo uses the complementary colors of orange and blue. I think this company chose to use these colors because they really stand out. When you are walking through a store, they will be very easy to notice, which will make them much easier to sell.

Chili's logo uses the complementary colors of green and red. I believe they would have chose to use these colors because they look very good together, and help each other stand out. These colors will result in the company standing out in a certain area. These colors are bold and will welcome you into the store, which is what the owners are looking to do.

Warm

McDonald's logo uses the warm colors of red and yellow. I believe they chose these colors because they actually increase your appetite scientifically. This will result in you wanting to go to their store and buy their products.

The Lay's logo also uses the warm color scheme of red, yellow, and orange. These colors were probably chosen because they look very clean together, which will thus help them sell their products very easily based off simply the look of the logo.

Cool

Sprite used the cool color scheme of blue, green, and some yellow in their logo. These colors were probably chosen because they look very clean cut when together, and help make a very exciting logo that will help them sell their product.

Aquafina chose to use blue as a cool color. I believe they probably chose this color because it is a very refreshing color. Since they are a water company, this will make it much easier to sell their product.

Monochromatic

Animal planet chose to use different shades of green for their color scheme. They probably chose these colors because it makes the logo look very clean, and also will help remind their customers of life.

A&M's logo uses multiple shades of brown for their color scheme. The company probably chose these colors because they look very good together, and will help remind their buyers of their product, root beer.

Triad Colors

I believe Microsoft chose to use the triad colors of blue, red, yellow, and green. These colors were chosen because they represent a lot of different things that will help to describe their company and fill customers with positive thoughts.

My Personality Type

ISTJ My personality type is ISTJ. This means I am introverted, sensing, thinking, and judging. People who are classified as an ISTJ are typically very analytical, reliable, and detail-oriented. They tend to value logical reasoning rather than emotional. They tend to prefer to be alone at times, and keep their thoughts to themselves. These people like to use processes that are proven to work, and also like to rely on their past experiences. Some famous people who share this personality type are George Washington, Queen Elizabeth II, and George H.W. Bush. As a whole, I believe this description of me is almost spot on. I think the quiz is definitely correct when it says I am introverted, and prefer to look at logic when reasoning. I believe I am definitely dependable and detail-oriented, but I think I also have some qualities of perceiving, to go along with judging. For example, I always try to not over schedule things, and I work pretty well under pressure. As a whole, I though t...

Typography Project

Typography Overview In this project, we were approached with the task of creating a project to show different terms of typography by using Adobe Illustrator. Before we started, we were given some basic knowledge about typography. This included different fonts, and parts of letters. We were then able to use some of our prior knowledge about Adobe Illustrator to create a name line to show our newfound knowledge. This project once again I believe was a very good stepping stone in my knowledge and I think it will be very useful in the future. What I learned For this project, we started off by writing our names and sizing it appropriately, and then making three lines to represent the general height of different parts of the letters. We then labeled different parts of our name with words and arrows. Once again, the command "Option-Drag" was very useful, as it helped us copy and paste our labels easily. After we had labeled at least ten parts of our name, we tweaked the l...

ONW Now Sophomore Edition

This was definitely the hardest project we've done this year. Not only was the time schedule very hard to meet, but there was also just a lot of things that had to be done. I definitely learned a lot about all the work that goes in to making a good news show. I learned how much goes on behind the scenes, such as what is done in the control room and with the camera and teleprompter. Personally, I really enjoyed working in the control room for this project. It was definitely a lot of pressure to work completely on the go. I had a huge part in the live recording of the show, which was definitely stressful, but I still enjoyed it. After doing this project, I would say the most important aspect of a successful news show is organization. It is extremely important for everybody to know exactly what their job is so they can execute perfectly. It is also very important to have good communication among your crew. For example, we didn't do a great job at communicating with our anchors...
