Logo Color Schemes

Logo Color Schemes

Analogous

This Subway logo uses the analogous colors of green, yellow, and white. I think the company probably chose these colors because it makes the logo look very coordinated and organized. Also, I think these colors would really get you in the mood for eating at this food chain.

This BP logo uses the analogous colors of green, lime, and yellow. I think the company chose these colors because they are very vibrant, and will make you feel much more energetic and willing to go to a place like this.

Complementary

This Fanta logo uses the complementary colors of orange and blue. I think this company chose to use these colors because they really stand out. When you are walking through a store, they will be very easy to notice, which will make them much easier to sell.

Chili's logo uses the complementary colors of green and red. I believe they would have chose to use these colors because they look very good together, and help each other stand out. These colors will result in the company standing out in a certain area. These colors are bold and will welcome you into the store, which is what the owners are looking to do.

Warm

McDonald's logo uses the warm colors of red and yellow. I believe they chose these colors because they actually increase your appetite scientifically. This will result in you wanting to go to their store and buy their products.

The Lay's logo also uses the warm color scheme of red, yellow, and orange. These colors were probably chosen because they look very clean together, which will thus help them sell their products very easily based off simply the look of the logo.

Cool

Sprite used the cool color scheme of blue, green, and some yellow in their logo. These colors were probably chosen because they look very clean cut when together, and help make a very exciting logo that will help them sell their product.

Aquafina chose to use blue as a cool color. I believe they probably chose this color because it is a very refreshing color. Since they are a water company, this will make it much easier to sell their product.

Monochromatic

Animal planet chose to use different shades of green for their color scheme. They probably chose these colors because it makes the logo look very clean, and also will help remind their customers of life.

A&M's logo uses multiple shades of brown for their color scheme. The company probably chose these colors because they look very good together, and will help remind their buyers of their product, root beer.

Triad Colors

Burger King chose to use the triad colors of blue, red, and yellow. I think they chose to use these colors because it brings a lot of variety to their color scheme, and also produces many different feelings in their customers.

I believe Microsoft chose to use the triad colors of blue, red, yellow, and green. These colors were chosen because they represent a lot of different things that will help to describe their company and fill customers with positive thoughts.

Movie Trailer Remake

Pre-Production For this project, we were assigned a specific movie about high school, and were told to remake the trailer. My group was assigned "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" for our movie. I was pretty excited about this project to start with because I really like the movie I got, and I thought I got a good group. However, this project was certainly not an easy task, so we had a lot of work to do. We started off with all of our pre-production activities. This included story boarding, completing a beat sheet, and figuring out who to cast for each role. Our group decided to mainly cast from our own group to make scheduling a little easier. However, we still casted all of our adults, plus two of our main characters from outside our group. Before we started filming, we also figured out what we were going to do for locations, props, and costumes. Most of our group chipped in for some props or costumes, and we mainly decided the locations as a group. Once we had all of that...

Ten Words Animation

Ten Words Animation Overview In this project, we were tasked with creating a video animation on Photoshop that included our first and last name, along with ten words we came up with that describe ourselves. We were taught a few things on how to use Photoshop, and were also able to use some of our prior knowledge from Illustrator to help us come up with a good layout, and then we created the actual animation. How We Did It For this project, we started off by typing in our ten words, along with our name. Once we had these in, we could choose individual colors and fonts for each word. After this, we had to put them into an arrangement on the page that was pleasing to the eye, and had an equal amount of white space between each word. Once we had done this, we created the animation itself, which included us making the letters move from one point to another, fade, and flip around. After we had done this, we were left with our final animation. Conclusion Overall, I believe thi...

Color Wheel Project

Color Wheel Project Overview During this project, we worked with Adobe Illustrator to create a color wheel. Beforehand, we were taught a little bit about the color wheel and program we would be working with, but since this was our very first time working with Adobe Illustrator, we had to do a lot of experimenting with the different tools. This project as a whole was a very good learning experience for me. It really helped me test the waters for a brand new program. As a whole I think this project will really help me in future projects, and it was a good way to start off our journey. My final design How We Did it During this assignment, we started off by making a big circle with multiple triangles imbedded in them by using the different shape tools. After that, we used the ellipse tool to create three circles that represented the primary colors. We then made squares and triangles that would represent the secondary and tertiary colors respectively. This whole process was ...
